The 1280 Vehicle-Mounted Terminal combines the CPU, keyboard and display into one rugged unit, designed to withstand the severe shock and vibration associated with being mounted on a vehicle. It features an 8 line x 40 character vacuum-fluorescent display designed for maximum visibility. The standard operating temperature range is 14° to 122°F (-10°C to 50°C). The 1280 can be built as an optional low temperature terminal designed to operate from -22° to 122°F (-30° to 50°C) if required to meet customer’s needs.
